What makes New Albany different than other care communities?
While many senior care providers claim to be the best, few can truly back that claim. At New Albany Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living, we stand behind our claim so much that we’ve made it our mission: to provide personalized, uncompromised healthcare. Whether it’s assisted living, post-hospital rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation or long-term care, every New Albany associate upholds a commitment to ensure that you or your loved one has the opportunity to enjoy the best possible experience. And if your healthcare needs change, New Albany provides a continuum of care options for you to consider.
Our New Albany center is locally owned and operated
While some senior care communities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and post-hospital rehabilitation centers are parts of national chains, New Albany is locally owned and operated by The MacIntosh Company. Since February 1998, we’ve lovingly served the residents of New Albany and northeast Columbus, Ohio.
Our quality measures up!
Our quality measures aren’t only based on our high standards, but those of our rehab guests, residents, families and governing entities. The Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services measure quality through annual surveys and ratings. Customer satisfaction surveys are given to each skilled nursing and rehab guest to complete prior to discharge, and New Albany consistently receives excellent ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Ohio Department of Health. The greatest compliment is when our patients appreciate and recommend our services.
- 99.12% recommend our post-hospital care services
- 99.12% rating for overall quality of rehab services
- 96.55% rating in overall quality of clinical care
- 94.55% rating for impression of how they were treated by the staff
- More than 95% of our rehab patients are discharged home!
Our staff never stops learning
Ongoing staff training means our administrative, nursing, therapy, dining and facilities staffs remain compliant with state and federal healthcare regulations, food handling and sanitation standards, and OSHA regulations. Known internally as MacIntosh University, we maintain a comprehensive online library of continuing education and in-service courses for the long-term care industry for associates in all departments and for all skill levels.
Patient-directed care ensures every New Albany resident lives each day to their fullest potential
