Opening Soon in Canal Winchester, Ohio!
An official ground breaking ceremony for The MacIntosh Company’s 7th care community was held August 17, 2016. Gathered were many local dignitaries and residences of the Canal Winchester community along with the Executive Leaders of the MacIntosh Company and many other MacIntosh employees.
Construction has officially started on a $15 million facility that will include 75 skilled nursing beds and 35 assisted living apartments. The center will be set on 7.5 acres in a largely residential neighborhood on East Gender Road, a few blocks south of Groveport Road. The 87,000-square-foot complex, focused on short term rehabilitative care and assisted living services, is expected to open in mid-2017. Approximately 110 local jobs will be created.
Why settle for a nursing home when you could experience the difference at Canal Winchester Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living?
Canal Winchester has long been known as a close-knit community with a strong heritage of farming and family values. When The MacIntosh Company decided to build a new community in the heart of Canal Winchester, we wanted the outside, as well as the inside, to reflect those values. As a company, we provide housing and healthcare for older adults based on trust, integrity, dependability and compassion.
This gorgeous community is nestled on 7.5 acres off Gender Road with convenient access to shopping necessities as well as the charm of downtown Canal Winchester. Our new community will focus on assisted living and short-term rehabilitative care while offering a continuum of services including post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation and long-term care. Every associate upholds a commitment to ensure that you or your loved one has the opportunity to enjoy the best possible experience. That’s why we aren’t a nursing home. We are a care community that lovingly serves the people of Canal Winchester, Ohio.
Care should be both personal and personalized to every individual. It should be carried out the same way you would care for a loved one at home, always meeting their expectations without compromise. You wouldn’t allow a stranger to come into your home and care for your loved one, so why should you trust just anyone or any care community?
